Corporate Headshot Photography in Brisbane: What a Growing Brokerage Taught Me About Team Portraits

I recently spent a morning photographing headshots for a growing professional services team here in Brisbane. It's one of my favourite types of shoot — not because of any one dramatic portrait, but because of what a consistent, well-lit set of headshots does for a whole business.

When a team is growing — new hires, promotions, people stepping into client-facing roles — their LinkedIn profiles and website bios are often the first impression a prospective client gets. A mismatched gallery of old photos, phone selfies and outdated headshots undercuts that, no matter how good the work behind it is.

For this shoot, the brief was simple: move quickly, keep the lighting and backdrop consistent from person to person, and make everyone look like themselves on a good day rather than overly posed. Working in short, efficient sessions in the office meant minimal disruption to a busy workday — usually ten to fifteen minutes per person once everyone's set up.
