I found out I've been nominated again for Photographer of the Year at the Women in Fashion Awards, following last year's nomination too.
It's a pretty nice feeling, and a good opportunity to reflect on the variety of work that's brought me here over the past year: fashion & beauty campaigns, corporate branding, event photography, and everything in between.
Different briefs, different people, different energy — but always the same goal: creating images that actually feel like the people and brands behind them.
About the Women in Fashion Awards
Now in its sixth year, the Women in Fashion Long Lunch & Awards is one of Brisbane's most anticipated fashion industry events. Sponsored by Pitcher Partners. The 2026 edition will welcome guests to Portside Wharf on Saturday, 5 September — the organisation's biggest celebration yet, supporting this year's charity partner, the Lady Musgrave Trust. A bit about my work
I'm a Brisbane-based commercial photographer with over 20 years of experience across fashion, editorial, corporate branding, personal branding, and event photography — working with clients across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast, including government and corporate organisations across Queensland.
The winner of Photographer of the Year will be announced at the event on 5 September 2026. Feeling pretty chuffed to be nominated again — fingers crossed.
If you'd like to see more of my fashion and editorial work, you can explore my portfolio, or get in touch to talk about a shoot of your own.
